JaTtik Clark was the only one out of nine that passed on to the next round. Haven't yet heard what happened after that.

was the only player advanced to the e finals from the distinguished group in attendence. The finals are to be held next Monday. My hartiest congratulations to the two finalists. It takes an extraordinary amount of hard, precise work to get to that level. Both have earned the right to be at that place in the audition process.

The two finalists are Yasuhito Sugiyama, a fine player who has been doing the job on an interim basis, and JáTtik Clark of the Oregon Symphony. Both are gifted players and my congratulations to both. Best of luck to both in the Finals.

Sugiyama won the audition yesterday. Congrats to him and to Japan!
