The Bay View Music Festival is an 8 week chamber music camp located in Petoskey Michigan. Each summer we admit enough brass students to assemble one brass quintet. You can apply as an individual or as a pre-formed ensemble. In the past, there has been significant scholarship funding available for high quality students. Petoskey is located on Lake Michigan in the northern part of the Lower Peninsula and has amazing weather in the summer. It is always a great chance to enjoy the sun and water while improving your musicianship. I am anxious to get back up there every summer.

Also, ECU is holding auditions on March 4 April 1 for admittance into the school of music. Those of you who are interested, get your info in soon!

There is no age limit that I am aware of. I have taught there the past two summers and both students were graduate students.

This is a really great festival. My wife was there a few years ago and I got to visit. It's a little long (8 weeks) but well worth it. Someone should really apply for this!
