No euphonium player is leaving the unit--the concert band producer is leaving (admin spot--not a playing spot)

SGM Bob Powers, though, just got that job as full-time producer for the concert band. So, he will no longer be playing with the section.

I thought I'd dig up this thread and ask if anyone's heard from the Army yet, or if anyone has an idea of when they will notify the people they are inviting. The deadline was August 1st, and they said people will be notified "shortly after the deadline."

Please let us know if you hear anything!

Do you know whether they will be contacting people by mail, email, or phone? The Falcone competition is this week, and the people up there will have only limited access to the outside world.

I think the most interesting thing will be if another one of the North Texas students will win it. I have no connection to anyone auditioning I am just curious...

Good luck to Jamie and Mark - and to everyone else at the audition. Best wishes, and keep us informed!

Congrats to Adam Lessard! Drill Sergeants are gonna like you!

Josh Cullum & Jeremy McBride were the other "final" finalist (third round). I don't know the list for the second round.
