Naples?

Anyone know the scoup with the Naples Phil? I can't seem to find info anywhere. I know I heard the resume date is like this week. Please post what you know.

I know of no opening. I don't see why there would be one. There are two great players on their roster:

There was an audition for Naples last year and Aaron won the spot, I think it was supposed to be a 1 year position for some sort of sabbatical leave. I haven't heard anything else about it since.

If someone wins an audition with a different, "more renumerative" orchestra, and they're entitled to a sabbatical, the smart thing to do is to take it, in case the probation or situation doesn't work out, also.
