The repertoire for the audition has been posted on our website.

A resume deadline is set for April 9. Potential candidates should understand that the HSO will travel to the US mainland for our auditions.

Best of luck at the audition.

Please be sure to go by direct communication from the audition coordinator with regard to the date of the audition. At this time while the website says the 28th, the actual date may in fact be on a day or two later than that. All those who have turned in resumes and been invited to the audition will recieve direct communication from the HSO with regard to time/location etc.

Dave called it. Just checked the HSO site again, and noticed the following change to the audition schedule:

Monday 5/28 Trombone
Tuesday 5/29 Bass Trombone
Wednesday 5/30 Tuba

Still waiting to hear if I've actually been invited to the audition, and wondering if the date might change again. Anyone been contacted with the actual invite yet?

they said by the 20th, tomorrow (or later today rather) they would send out the next, more crucial round of emails.

How awkward (and expensive!) for any candidates who don't actually live in the Chicago area!

I have a feeling that everyone who sent a resume got in.

There is at least one TubeNetter auditioning for Honolulu. But let's leave it to her/him/them to reveal such plans if they wish to do so.
