Auditions

Spring 2007 Auditions
The following positions are open for the 2007-2008 orchestral season:
Section violin, viola, bass
Second Oboe
Third Oboe/English Horn
Third Bassoon/Contrabassoon
Principal Horn
Principal Tuba

Auditions for brass will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, 6-9 PM
Auditions for strings will be held Monday, May 7, 2007, 4:30-6 PM
Auditions for winds will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007, 4-6 PM

To reserve your audition appointment, please send your resume and a $35 application fee (refundable upon arrival at audition) postmarked no later than April 25, 2007.

I'll let you know as soon as I get my packet (hopefully i get one :o), as well as the audition reqs.

Looks like about 5-6 concerts plus probably maybe 20-25 rehearsals... total of maybe 25-30 services at let's say $100 each would work out to $2500-3000 before taxes and deductions. That's probably being generous. If you're local... go for it.
