All seats in Chicago Brass Band, an international award-winning ensemble that performs in the Championship Section of the North American Brass Band Association, are currently open for audition. All accomplished brass and percussion players are welcome to audition, particularly those who play cornet, euphonium, baritone, and tuba. Professional and advanced amateur players are all encouraged to consider joining Chicago Brass Band.

Thursday evenings, plus some supplementary rehearsals when the NABBA Competition approaches.

Usually in Northbrook; occasionally in Arlington Heights.

If someone was interested in auditioning and had both a contrabass and bass tuba, should they bring both? One or the other?

Currently, our greater need is for Eb Bass players. So perhaps it would be best if you bring your bass tuba now (it can be an F tuba or an Eb tuba). You can audition on your contrabass tuba at a later date.
