I saw ghost riders in the sky, and they each played a York EEb tuba.

Congrats to John Elliott who was the winner! John is finishing his undergrad at Eastman, while working as a Barista here.

I don't know the winner's plans but it seems like a move to Chicago would be a great option. There are many great players/teachers in that area (ie Pokorny, Martin, and Cooley). There are also great players within half a days drive or less (Kniffen, Perantoni, Montgomery). There are also some great choices for graduate school there.MikeMason wrote:over 1000 miles round trip per gig.wow...

John is finishing up his degree here in Eastman. Regardless of how far a drive it is, it is an amazing opportunity for John. Congrats man!!
