After going through that list, why would they need to hear sight reading?

Congrats to John Elliott who was the winner! John is finishing his undergrad at Eastman, while working as a Barista here.

I don't know the winner's plans but it seems like a move to Chicago would be a great option. There are many great players/teachers in that area (ie Pokorny, Martin, and Cooley). There are also great players within half a days drive or less (Kniffen, Perantoni, Montgomery). There are also some great choices for graduate school there.

John is finishing up his degree here in Eastman. Regardless of how far a drive it is, it is an amazing opportunity for John. Congrats man!!
