I heard Dan Sipes briefly during the 2003 Texas Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference at TCU in Fort Worth. I was impressed with his ability and sound on the instrument.

Congratulations to all who auditioned, and to Dan for winning the position!

Congrats!

Shouldn't that have been "sparkling" bass horn by the beach(or sea)? Regardless, congrats to Dan.

Trust me when I say that there is NOTHING "sparkling" about that place.
