Canadian Forces Auditions

Hi!

There is openings for musicians in the Canadian Forces. Here is the info:

The Canadian Forces Music Branch
Announces auditions for the following Regular Force musician positions:

Oboe
Clarinet
Saxophone

Trumpet
French Horn
Tenor Trombone
Euphonium
Tuba

Percussion (Drum Set Specialty)
Contrabass / Electric Bass
Piano / Keyboard
Guitar
Vocalist

Bagpipes
Pipe Band Drum

Secondary instrumental skills considered an asset.

Important dates:
Recordings for the preliminary round are due August 1, 2008.
Final auditions will be held October 20 to 31, 2008. The Canadian Forces will assume travel, meal and accommodation costs for candidates invited to the final auditions.


Starting salary of $51,000 to $58,700 can.
Full benefits including paid vacation, extensive health and dental coverage, exceptional pension plan, group insurance, family support services and parental leave.

Unless things have changed since July 2001 (when I moved back to the US), members of CF bands must be Canadian citizens.

Hi!

Yes, that's true. You must be a canadian citizen to enlist in the canadian forces.

(This is a trick question, the only correct answer is C)
