POLL - Who knows who advanced in Detroit

Post by Uncle Buck »

Seems like the other thread has turned into bragging about who does and does not know, so I thought a poll might be in order.

Edited it in, but had to shorten it a little because the poll answers all have to fit on one line.

The Pistons made the 1st round, too.

The Tigers are in 1st, for a change.

Too bad the Rotaries didn't make it. I was hoping for a Piston vs. Rotary match-up.

Don't worry, I doubt if the Pistons will make it past round one. They're playing against the first seeded Cleveland Vienna Valves.

Does anyone know what kind of chairs the finalists will be sitting on?

I heard the orchestra had to sell their chairs, and that the finalsts have to play sousaphone.

They are still selecting their chairs. Someone told me what kind it will be, but I'm not telling... :)

We are building an orchestra of extraordinary magnitude.

As for the finalist, send him to Detroit.

I heard that for the finals, they'll be playing behind the viola section.

It is my understanding that in Detroit, the curtain never comes down during any stage of the audition process. This includes finals. It would be my thought then that one could not play with the trombone section, assuming one or more of them are on the committee. Then again I could be all wrong. It has happened before.
I saw ghost riders in the sky, and they each played a York EEb tuba.
