New England Music Camp Euph and Tuba

Post by Matt Ransom »

If you are a high school tuba or euphonium player looking for a great place to spend the summer playing in very good ensembles and taking lessons, check out the New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine.

http://www.nemusiccamp.com/

The site is very informative, but please feel free to contact me with any questions. There is substantial scholarship money available. There are options for 4 weeks, 3 weeks or the full 7 weeks.

Many years ago I taught at the New England Music Camp. It is a really cool summer music experience. I encourage any young tubists to go. Matt and his faculty colleagues are great. You'll do a lot of playing, meet a lot of other good young musicians and do it all at a beautiful lake and camp in Maine.
