Do I have to pursue a degree or can I just come to enjoy the place?

Holy cow! Will the students have to learn Icelandic? It is arguably one of the hardest languages in the world to learn.

Alex you are welcome anytime! Students will NOT have to learn icelandic. Icelanders speak the best english of all the European countries, I believe. Students will have to learn to love rotten shark, sheep testicles, and schnapps, haha!

Tim,

The instrumental certificate... Is it more along the lines of the American Equivalent of an Associates Degree, more along the lines of a Artist/Performer's Certificate, or Masters?

My wife nixed enrolling, it wasn't the competition... it was the sheep testicles.

I'd love to see Iceland. By the way, Tim, where you are playing right now? This week, today.

Icelandic is not a very hard language to learn: it is surprisingly close to english both in words and in grammar. Perhaps it would be a good idea for someone there to take out a huge loan with one of the local banks to buy a bunch of tubas then wait for the bank to collapse, and then disappear back to where you came from with your shiny tubas... hehe
