Hi Everyone,
I want to announce the solo competitions that will be held at the 2011 ITEA South Central Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference, March 10-12, at Baylor University. There will be four divisions: Student Euphonium, Student Tuba, Artist Euphonium, and Artist Tuba. The student divisions are open to high schoolers, and the artist divisions are open to anyone not over 27 years old. First place prizes in the student division will be at least $400, and first place prizes in the artist divisions will be at least $800. I hope to be able to add to the total purse as revenue is brought in from sponsors and advertisers. Stay tuned for updates...
Complete details, including repertoire requirements, are available at http://www.baylor.edu/kent_eshelman" target="_blank.
Please note that there is no recorded round for these competitions, and only the first 30 applicants in each division will be accepted.
Thanks for your interest!
Sincerely,
Kent Eshelman
