Congrats!

Sad to see Dave Unland leave though. Took several of the most memorable lesson I've ever had with him during High School.

Ithaca is a great city and a beautiful region of NYS, enjoy it!

Dave Unland is one of the best tuba teachers/performers that I have ever worked with. I did my Masters in Low Brass with Dr. Unland and Dr. Charles Dalkert back in 1977-79. Wonderful teachers and performers!
I hope Dave is still playing- Dalkert is no longer with us as I understand. I enjoyed my time at Ithaca.

I have heard that it is a one year position and then they will do a search.

It was a very fast process. The administrative approval for the position came a only week before the deadline for the job. I'm sure they advertised but they mainly searched through direct references.
