As I posted earlier about my son Eric (16 year old Junior at Park View HS in South Hill VA) being a finalist at the James Bland Lions Club and Army Field Band Competition now we can add the US NAvy High School Concerto Competition. In here lies the problem. The Army and Navy Competitions are the same day, 40 minutes apart. The Army is providing an accompianist but the Navy does not. Eric's accompanist cannot make it. The competition is MAY 12, yup one week and one day from today. If anyone knows an accompanist in the DC area that knows the 1st movement of the Gregson Tuba Concerto PLEASE EMAIL ME. We will be at Ft. Meade, MD on the 11th.
