GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY anticipates hiring a full-time, tenure track, Assistant Professor in Trombone and/or Euphonium commencing on August 12, 2013. Doctorate or equivalent experience required. Teach in applied area of expertise, brass techniques courses, coach brass chamber music, and other duties as needed. Georgia State University is a research university, and the successful candidate will bring and maintain a high level of professional development in his or her field, leading to consideration for tenure and promotion. In addition, faculty members of the School participate in self- governance, student advising, and recruitment at the undergraduate and graduate level.
