Is it appropriate to email the orchestra and ask for information regarding the potential pay for each service?

Does this orchestra even pay? I saw the website. It is listed as a youth orchestra with high school all state like audition standards, so I figured my youthfulness is questionable and decided to not audition. If this is not the case, please send along a link to the real/pro orchestra as I didn't see it.

Matthew Gaunt of Burning River Brass, Proteus 7, and faculty member at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee won the audition for Principal Tuba of Rockford Symphony.

Matt has subbed in Chicago Symphony Orchestra and played second tuba (Rite of Spring fairly recently) with Gene P. in CSO. He has also recently performed with Chicago Chamber Musicians.

Congratulations, Matt!
