Hi all,
Illinois State University will have an opening for a Master's graduate assistantship in tuba for the school year beginning in August 2014. Duties would include teaching music minors and non-majors, performing in our graduate brass quintet and assisting with the tuba and euphonium ensemble. This is a 1/2 assistantship which covers full tuition and a stipend of of approximately $4000 a year. Opportunities for an additional 1/2 assistantship are also available.
Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. My address is atrumme(at)ilstu.edu. You may also check out our School of Music's website: http://finearts.illinoisstate.edu/music/. Also, if you are so inclined, you can search "Illinois State University" on iTunes to check out one of the many commercially available recordings of our fine ensembles.
Thanks!

I couldn't say enough good things about Andy Rummel as a teacher. Anyone looking at grad schools should really look into this one.
