Inaugural Army Band Composition Competiton

The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" is proud to announce the inaugural Tuba Euphonium Workshop Composition Competition. The mission of this competition is to encourage the development of new, creative literature for the tuba and euphonium in solo settings but also in chamber settings. With that in mind, we have placed very few limits on the instrumentation that composers can use. Anything from unaccompanied tuba or euphonium to eclectic ensembles are welcome. We only ask that compositions be limited to a total of twelve instruments, be between 6 and 15 minutes in length, and that they feature tuba and/or euphonium.
