Please schedule a time by contacting Beverly Delph at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also request information here... http://www.semo.edu/music/questionnaire.htm. Non-music major auditions for ensemble participation are scheduled by appointment with director of bands Dr. Martin Reynolds (email@example.com). Southeast is offering competitive tuition and some very nice scholarships... including additional money for marching band participation...
Marching Band Stipend:
First year members -- $500
Second year members -- $650
Third year members -- $750
Fourth year members -- $1000
If you are a member of your All-State Band (MO or other surrounding states), the Marching Band stipend is $1000 for all four years. Again, the marching band stipend is in addition to any other scholarships for which you might qualify.
Southeast also has reciprocal tuition agreements in place with some surrounding areas... Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, Western Tennessee and Northeastern Arkansas. There are some really exciting things happening in the tuba studio and Dr. Reynolds is doing an outstanding job with the band program. Additionally the music department is located in a beautiful new multi-million dollar arts complex (with outstanding performance facilities and a great concert series) on the banks of the Mississippi river (SEMO River Campus-- http://www.semo.edu/rivercampus/index.htm). They have also added dorms for performing arts majors right next to river campus http://www.semo.edu/residencelife/halls/rivercenter.html .
If you have any questions or would like to set up a campus tour or schedule a lesson, please feel free to contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The new dorms are located on the North (left) side were you see the construction. Unfortunately I am not aware of a newer aerial photo that includes them.
An excellent place to practice on a nice day...
