The flyer says that copies of the music are available on westpointband.com but I can't seem to locate them. Has anyone else had any luck finding it?

HINDEMITH: Sonata for Bass Tuba (All Movements, with piano accompaniment.)
Better call your pianists now. Nobody is making a "last minute" recording this time around.

Don't worry...
Hyperinflation continues to work quite well.

SSGs weren't making 10k in 1985!!

Before you guys turn this into a pissing contest, keep in mind that $60K, while inferior (or not) to $10K in 1985 dollars, is still far better than what most unemployed tuba players are
doing right now.

Yes, I see.
Plopped into OCS with less than two years of service I was making 11,246.40
WAY more than 10K!!
Or was that 1983??

Did anyone manage to get clarification on where they want the G.W. Bicentennial March to end? Is it to the end, taking both repeats, last time only, or stopping at the double bar, fourth system from the bottom of the page?
Thought I'd ask here before contacting them.

I asked if they wanted the first excerpt of Stars and Stripes and George Washington Bicentennial March repeated or just played once through to the second ending and the response I got was "Just go with once through on to the second ending."

While we're at it....top or bottom on Melody Shop? One way includes those pesky sixteenth notes in the trio, the other is a quarter note instead.

I would think the bottom because they asked for the bottom on every other excerpt. If you find something definitive let us know!

Shouldn't you guys just walk in there confidently, rip off both parts and say "it wasn't clear which one you wanted so I did both??"

If you were on the committee, which would you want to hear, the easy part or the hard one?

I'm confused. Do they want you to record both octaves of Toccata Marziale or just the lower octave???

The excerpts they provide ask for you to record the bottom. You might be asked to play the upper octave at the live round though.
