My question is: What kind of a tuba job requires you to not be afraid of heights?!?!
One reason I like tuba is because it's really good at staying on the ground!

recent footage of an actual performance or rehearsal, in which we can see you performing on the brass instruments;
When Cirque wants to see you "performing on the brass instruments" they mean "performing
ON the brass instruments!!"

I know of at least 4 (maybe 5) people that have sent in an audition from various drum corps. I wouldn't be surprised if they want you to hang upside down in the middle of a auditorium while playing tuba.

Yeah, mine was me playing with a funk band on tuba, and my "extra talent" videos were me playing trombone, tuba, electric bass, upright, and cello. It's one of those many-celled videos where I play all the parts. Might be too polished for their taste, but we'll see.

Anyone hear back yet? Mine just had tuba playing, but I stood on my head and did some other movement-type things.

Nope, but I just had views from Canada somewhere between last night and this morning. My "interview" video was only shared with Cirque, so they definitely looked at my videos in the last 24 hours. So my guess is that there will be phone calls made during this coming week.

I auditioned. Seems like such a crazy awesome gig! I think the next step would be an in person audition....does this seem accurate?

From having friends that went through the audition process, the next step would most likely be a Skype interview with the top three candidates. They will probably hire their favorite based on that. If you get hired and aren't cutting it during pre-production, they'll probably just move on to the next candidate.
