Music in the Mountains Conservatory Summer Program

This July, I'm excited to be teaching at a three week program in Durango, Colorado called Music in the Mountains Conservatory. Our program offers private lessons, orchestra, and chamber music, and it supplements them with new music workshops, Alexander Technique instruction, career development seminars, and theory classes, all on a beautiful college campus in the San Juan Mountains. It's an amazing environment: everyone's striving for musical excellence in this incredibly supportive way that addresses the changing face of classical music in the twenty-first century. We encourage our students to help and learn from one another, to take initiative, to think critically, and to consider how being a great musician is just a part of being a great person.
