Wright State - Grad openings (TA available) and undergrad

Post by Lukowicz »

Hi all,

I am currently accepting admission applications for the Fall 2017 school year. I have openings for tuba and euphonium at the undergraduate and graduate level. Students that are unable to make the drive to audition on campus, can be accepted via MP3 or CD.

Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA):

The possibility of a GTA increases greatly if you have an interest in Music Education or Theory. The GTA stipend is around $8,000 plus full tuition remission.

About the studio:

The WSU Tuba/Euphonium Student Group is also highly active with ITEA, and helps sponsor trips to the regional and international ITEA conferences. The Student Group also hosts tuba/euphonium artists. To date we have had Carol Jantsch, Don Harry, David, Earll, Craig Knox, Lance LaDuke, and Tony Kniffen. We are currently finalizing dates with two major symphony players to spend a day with the studio.

Wright State University is located in Dayton, Ohio, about an hour north of Cincinnati. Yearly in-state tuition is currently set at $8,730 for undergraduates and $6738 for graduates students We offer scholarships on the basis of academic and musical merit. There are guaranteed scholarships for students that meet certain academic criteria.
