The Schulich School of Music of McGill University will have openings for both undergraduate and graduate level tuba students for the academic year of 2017/2018.

Anyone considering a graduate or undergraduate degree in music performance should consider McGill, not only for the international quality of its faculty, resources and facilities, but also for the fact that tuition there is a fraction of the cost of many comparable US schools. For qualified candidates there will be scholarship opportunities available, but even without funding, full McGill tuition comes in at just over $15K USD, less than half, even closer to a third of the tuition cost of many other music schools.

Thanks to all those who have expressed interest in auditioning for McGill. One detail I forgot to mention was that on most Tuesday mornings I run a tuba studio class where we do group drills and exercises, discuss aspects of playing, and play for each other.

Anyone interested in the possibility of studying at McGill would be welcome to attend this class at any time. Please contact me directly for further details.
