AMAZING OPPORTUNITY !!!

Postby bloke » Sat Sep 23, 2017 9:51 am

You'll have to act quickly, as the closing date is very soon.
The pay is remarkable, particularly when one considers the remarkable cost of living. :D

Love San Luis Obispo. Beautiful town. Yes, you would have to be a millionaire to live there and take the tuba job, but that's almost any nice place these days.

Why would you have to live there?
I have no comment at this time.

You don't have to, it's just a bit isolated, being halfway between San Fran and LA. Kind of a long way to drive for $60 a service. Musicians do that kind of crap all the time though, so it's nothing too out of the ordinary. I knew a tuba player in LA that would fly to West Virginia to play in a symphony. Could be worse.

I know. I was asking Joe why all the derision over paying work? It sounds a bit like his ridicule of edukaters and kollich.

Now he flies from the East Coast to teach in LA. Progress!

After driving in from LA (or flying in from Idaho, or wherever) the $61.XX revenue could be used to pay off some student loan debt...you know: the money that was "invested" in oneself in order to become a "highest quality applicant that meets the highest level of artistic standards" 'n' stuff. :|
