Tuba PLAYERS needed

Post by tubapix »

The Palm Beach Gardens (FL) Concert Band is in desperate needs of at least 2 tuba players. Currently I am it (other than 2 tuba holders). Under the baton of Mr. Randy Sonntag we perform 5 concerts per season at the Eissey Campus Theater.

Trumpeter Brian Neal opens our 2017-2018 season on October, 25 2017.

PM me here if you are able to help out.

Thank you

We have the South Fork HS band director playing 1 rehearsal and then the concert so that helps. Norman has stepped down from being president and it's just a matter of time before he stops coming. I had to tell Norm not to play something the other day because 1- he can't keep tempo and 2- he just can't play it. It's too bad because Norm was an excellent tuba player many years ago when I first met him but time has crept up in him as well and he mainly comes to socialize I think. I had two that were supposed to start in January but one had to go back north suddenly and the other has gone to school. Oh well, C'est la vie...
