Hello my name is Jim Akins, professor of tuba and euphonium at The Ohio State University. I'm pleased to announce that we have an opening for a teaching assistant position, beginning in the fall of 2018. This position is available for either euphonium or tuba at the Masters or DMA level. It includes tuition waivers and the stipend is approaching $2,000 a month for 9 months per year. Please feel free to contact me via email at
