Scholarships/Assistantships Available @ EIU!

Post by emkelsick »

Greetings!

Eastern Illinois University has scholarships available for undergraduate tuba and euphonium students for the fall of 2018! We also have assistantships available for graduate students...The assistantships cover all tuition, plus an ~$870 per month stipend!

EIU is a public university of about 7,000 students located in Charleston, IL.

Advantages of study at EIU:
- Extremely low cost of living
- Scholarships available (For music majors AND minors)
- Thriving studio environment (currently 15 members in the studio)
- Updated and immaculate facilities (http://www.eiu.edu/doudna/). None of my students complain about the lack of space!
- Music education majors have a 95% placement rate (this past year was 100%)
- Flexible degree plans - EIU makes it easy to add a music minor or to double major
- Frequent guest clinicians...past guests include Mark Kellogg, Demondrae Thurman, Ben Pierce, and others

Check out the following link for audition dates and application information (https://www.eiu.edu/music/auditions_gen ... mation.php).

If you have any questions or would like to arrange a free lesson, please PM me or email me: emkelsick (at) eiu.edu. You may also request more information here: https://www.eiu.edu/music/info.php.

Thanks!
