Hello All,

We are excited to share that we have openings for undergraduate and graduate tuba and euphonium students in the Ithaca College Tuba/Euphonium Studio! In addition to competitive scholarships and the potential for graduate assistantships, we are committed to an active chamber music experience – so there will be many great performance opportunities for you during your studies here at Ithaca College.

Our deadline for applications for Fall 2019 is December 1st, 2018, and you can learn more about the application process for the IC School of music here: https://www.ithaca.edu/music/admission/

Here’s a little more information about the Ithaca College School of Music:

Ithaca College was founded in 1892 as a Music Conservatory. As part of a devoted history and commitment to producing outstanding performing musicians and music educators, the School of Music affirms its fundamental belief that music and the arts are essential components of the human experience. The School of Music contributes to the ongoing realization of this belief by preparing the music leaders of tomorrow — highly trained professional musicians educated through expert musical instruction coupled with outstanding performance experiences.

With 600 students and more than 60 full-time faculty at Ithaca College’s School of Music, our music majors get incredible access to a dedicated and accomplished group of scholars, performers, and educators. They experience exceptional and varied performance and leadership opportunities in an environment that is as rigorous and challenging as it is nurturing and supportive. Faculty members devote themselves every day to teaching and mentoring our students while maintaining national and international visibility in their fields.

In addition to a dedication to training excellent young performers, the Ithaca College School of Music was recently ranked in the Top 10 Schools for Music Education Majors in the United States. Ithaca, New York was also ranked in the Top 10 College Towns in the United States as well!

Looking forward to your audition!
