Hi Everyone,

I have an opening next Fall (2019-20) for a teaching assistant in the tuba/euphonium studio at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This position is open to anyone interested in pursuing a Master of Music degree in tuba.

The assistantship comes with a full tuition waiver and a stipend of aprox. 9,000 per year. Responsibilities include rehearsals, performances, and outreach with the Graduate Brass Quintet and duties within the tuba/euphonium studio.

UMass Amherst is a large state university with a thriving music department. We are relatively close to Boston and New York and have easy access to major East Coast musical institutions. Please contact me if you are interested.

Thanks!
