Hello all,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Triton got off to a great start at Tanglewood with an incredibly successful opening recital on July 5th. The TBQ performed Ewald 1, TBQ Monteverdi Suite & Plog's 4 Sketches, then the Lutoslawski MINI OVERTURE, Farnaby's "Fancies, Toyes & Dreams," and PASSAGES by Patrice Caratini. I hope you will join us for this next recital as we are premeiring the most recent composition for Triton, PERICHORESIS by Delvin Case (Boston), and performing Lansing McLoskey's GLAZE; a fantastic piece for brass quintet & drum set composed for the Atlantic Brass Quintet by this fine Boston composer. Zac Hollister, recently appointed bass trombonist of the US Naval Academy Band, will join Triton in the closing performance of the Dahl Sextet.
