Brass Band at Hiram College !!!

Post by IupEuphBone »

Hello Everyone,

Hiram College ( OH ) is starting a Brass Band next fall.
I have spots for 25 Brass and Percussion students, and hope to fill many of those with incoming freshmen.
The goal of this group is to compete in NABBA ( North American Brass Band Association ) by our Third Year.

There are scholarship opportunities for students of all majors who commit to play in the Brass Band.
Students of all majors are also able to take free private lessons on any instrument from our faculty.
We also have a Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, Jazz Band, African Ensemble, Choir, Orchestra, and more.
All of our ensembles are open to students of all majors.

We are a small liberal arts school with a variety of majors and many musical opportunities, located close to both Cleveland and Akron Ohio.
There are many incredible listening opportunities in the area such at the Cleveland Orchestra, and we have several guest artists visit campus each year.
In the Tuba-Euphonium world, this year we will host Adam Frey for a 3-day residency in the spring.

We also have many internship and work-study opportunities for students, and tuition is very reasonable.
If you're someone considering a double major, that is very possible here in 4 years.

If you are interested in more information, or want to come audition/visit campus please don't hesitate to contact me.
