Greetings, TubeNet!

I wanted to announce that we have upcoming audition dates for 2020-2021. The Tuba/Euph studio will have openings for both tuba and euphonium for undergraduates in Music Education, Music Performance, Jazz Studies or Music Minor for Fall 2020.

Located in Naperville IL, the campus is situated just 60 minutes west of Downtown Chicago. North Central College has 2 wind bands, as well as orchestral and chamber music opportunities. In addition to those ensembles, NCC also has one of the largest Division III athletic band programs with Marching Band, 2 Basketball bands, and more (ie, more $cholar$hip potential).

North Central College faculty also regularly perform with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Milwaukee Symphony, Chicago Philharmonic, Grant Park Symphony and Chicago Sinfonietta.

With the Metra train station nearby, you also have access to incredible musical performances (via cheap student tickets!!) by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Joffrey Ballet, Grant Park Symphony—not to mention the incredible jazz and theatre scene! The NCC Music Department is located in Wentz Hall where the Chicago Symphony and other internationally renowned artists (Canadian Brass on 12/14/19 and New Chicago Brass on 12/15/19) frequently perform. It is home to the Chicago Sinfonietta and DuPage Symphony Orchestras.
