Hello fellow musicians!
I am looking for a graduate student to start in the fall of 2021. Tuba or euphonium. Assistantship will be tailored to your career objectives so that you can gain experience. We offer Master's Degrees in Performance, Music Education, Wind Conducting, and Orchestral Conducting.
Past students have been able to teach applied lessons to non-majors, lead tuba choirs and other chamber ensembles, as well as have teaching opportunities in theory, music history, and music appreciation. I have had great placement of my students into top DMA programs after graduation. Although we have been pretty chill during the Pandemic, this is normally an active studio that travels to ITEA events and hosts several events on our campus.
Please contact me if interested in finding if Pittsburg State University is a good fit for you. Note - email or mobile phone is the best way to contact me. I rarely check Tubenet anyomore.
