One of my students passed this link on. As good a Siegfried solo as I’ve ever heard. Just fabulous contrabass tuba playing.
Any idea who it was-Bayreuth 1991 with Barenboim? I’m guessing Walter Hilgers or David Glidden, but perhaps someone knows definitively.
