Schwartz/Sculler-Coronet Favorites

Post by Frank Ortega »

I just bought this cd and I'm amazed with the musicianship of the ensemble as well as the soloist!
The tuba player is fantastic, but ther is no mention of the personnel on this cd. The cd even mentions that one piece features a tuba solo without mentioning the player!
Can anyone help?

Can't help, but they're cornets, not crowns... :P
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

And it's Schuller, not Sculler. I tried pasting this into Google and got nothing. (And Schwarz, not Schwartz!)

But this is what I did get:

Spelling...

Ok, ok...a Masters degree from a Conservatory does not necesarily make you a good speller, or typist!

But they would let me out of my grad school unless I could spell.

I'm sorry, I always was a good speller. I even know how to spell leger lines.

Gerard Schwartz just posted a reply to my comment on his "Behind the baton" facebook video series that Toby Hanks was the tuba player on this recording and he is fantastic. I love this CD and wondered as well!
