I thought the music was great. Who is it?
It is very likely that Johnson or Self did play tuba on the soundtrack. However, there are other tubists that play for soundtracks in the L.A. studios.tubaguy9 wrote:It has to be either Tommy Johnson or Jim Self playing tuba in there. The site http://www.moviebrass.com has the list of tubists that play for movies. There are 3 possible movie tubists, and one of them is for the movies in England, so it's one of those 2.
This site does not list all of the tuba players that play for the movies, it only lists the ones they know about. I'm not criticizing the site, it's informational, not exhaustive in its research.tubaguy9 wrote:It has to be either Tommy Johnson or Jim Self playing tuba in there.
