Yes, it's a very lovely piece. Not sure who played tuba on it, although I'd hazard a guess and say it was someone local to the Icelandic recording community.

In my opinion, a much nicer performance/recording can be found on the Washington Symphonic Brass CD "Dances With Brass":

The other material on the disc is also first-rate. Might be a nice way to get ahold of the tune without having to buy a disc full of turkeys. I have it available for sale, if you're interested...
