Just saw this post...

I did get called for that gig, but had to turn it down as I could not make all the rehearsals they were scheduling -- it would have required me to cancel a pile of other gigs. Such is life...!

I think the project was headed up by a bunch of folks from the Manhattan School of Music, so it may have ended up being some cats from that loop.

Oops... misread... this durn thing wont let me edit!

I got called for the original premeire, which was a year ago or so. I am guessing that for this performance they are using the players who did the first show.

I'm playing tuba 2 this year.
Max Siegel (jazz bass bone @MSM) is playing tuba 1 and he played last year as well.
