Young Sherlock Holmes

Post by sc_curtis »

My friend has this soundtrack and it is really fun to listen to. Any idea who is the tuba? Johnson or Self, or maybe someone else?

And while I'm asking, any idea who the rest of the brass are? Its really wonderful playing!

Thanks

That was recorded in 1985 by the Sinfonia of London, so most likely not Tommy or Jim.

Follow the web link above for a wonderful picture of John Fletcher playing the (I'm 90% sure) Holton CC. Lots of wonder dents showing on the horn.
