That would be Jens-Bjorn Larsen. Check out the same ensembles recording of Norgaard Symphony No.6 Spectacular performance, the part is quite a tour-de-force for the tuba.

That would be before Jens-Bjorn Larsen developed the Thor with M-W. Does anyone know what he played previously?

I think he played a Hirsbrunner York Model, but i'm not positive.

Just been listening to the Hamerik CD - great recording!

I notice looking at the booklet that the symphony is actually recorded 2005, so probibly on a Thor (?) - even more present than the tuba used for the Requiem.
