Curb Your Enthusiasm

I am watching the first episode of the first season of Curb your Enthusiasm. While I haven't laughed at the show yet, I am enjoying the music. Strings and tuba. It sounds like the tuba player is either using a sousaphone or is miced inside the bell. But anyway, the playing is good and has quite a bit of cool tuba parts in addition to overbalanced umpah parts.

I don't know where it was recorded. Anybody know who the tuba player would be?

My mom tried to buy the music for me as a christmas present but said she couldn't get the sheet music anywhere. But I'd love to know who it is and play the piece.
