The album credits two tuba players, Howard Johnson and Billy Cobham.
Billy Cobham would definitely be the drummer.

Does anyone know who played tuba in this end of the album track? The album is "Hotcakes" as is the name of the cut. The album credits two tuba players, Howard Johnson and Billy Cobham.
Nice tune. I like Carly Simon. I think she has "Hot Cakes" ;) I like Howard Johnson's playing, too. Adds a lot of color and humor in many places.

Billy Cobham is a great drummer.

I was unaware of Billy Cobham's tuba skills. I saw him in Annapolis with his own fusion band, ala Mahavishnu Orchestra style(they played some Mahavishnu, but mostly stuff off of Spectrum, one of Billy's solo albums). He is one of the top 5 drummers in the world in my opinion.
