Of course I have it turned up to an obnoxiously loud level, say "Spinal Tap 11".

Mattis Cederberg and Brown Street
What type of tuba did Mattis play on the Brown Street CD by the late, great Joe Zawinul? (I heard a some manly playing on the second or third cut of disc one and I don't have the liner notes handy.) I am listening to this as I complete the typical end-of-year stuff that my school requires. It is great decompression material.

". . . and madly he played . . . "

Hi there...glad you like it!
I think that was all bass trombone though...
the only tune I played tuba on, as far as I can remember, is Db-Waltz, which didn't get on the CD, I think (haven't got it here)...
cheers
