Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out here knows who played tuba in the recording of Carmina Burana, performed by the London Philharmonic under Franz Welser-Most? It is some incredible playing and I am curious as to who layed it down for that recording....thanks!

You do not say the year of the recording, but most likely Owen Slade playing his Besson 981 Eb.

Also under Franz Welser-Most batton, check out the LPO Bruckner 5 recording - incredible tuba tone from Owen on that too.
