Warsaw Philharmonic

Post by ZNC Dandy »

Anyone know who is playing tuba and bass trombone on this recording...

It was recorded in November of 1999. The end of "Eternal Songs" is M-A-S-S-I-V-E! Its one of my favorite recordings of anything I own. The low brass presence and sound is simply astonishing, as is the rest of the orchestra for that matter. Highly recommended.

tuba, at least NOW, is Arkadiusz Więdlak. They only list 2 trombones in the roster.

I listened to this recording yesterday and what a superb tuba sound. In Eternal Songs it really jumps out of the speakers - highly recommended!

Now, I wonder what sort of tuba he would be playing in the Warsaw Philharmonic? Anyone heard live, or seen in video?
