Gladiator (2000) and X-Men (2000)

Hi all,
Playing music from these two films on an orchestra concert and I was just curious as to what all they used in the low brass sections and who was playing. Did a search and found that Owen Slade played tuba on the Gladiator soundtrack, but I have not been able to find info on the instrumentation for these two. Thanks for any info!
