Who played tuba on Batman (1989) by Danny Elfman?

Post by tubalamb »

I was listening to the Batman (1989) soundtrack tonight for an upcoming concert, and was blown away with how great it sounds!

I assumed it was Tommy Johnson, but I cannot confirm as it's not on his list of credits. (He's listed as playing on Batman Returns and Batman Forever.)

So if it's not Tommy Johnson, anyone know who did it?

It was the Sinfonia of London that recorded the soundtrack, so that led to this:

Looks like it was Stephen Wick.
His film work includes some of best known movies of recent years including Star Wars, Alien, Batman, Rambo and Gladiator.

The 1989 Batman score was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Definately NOT Tommy Johnson.
